Some of our favorite fruity combinations are lemon blueberry pops and creamy raspberry lemonade pops. We love these colorful popsicle molds, but you can also make DIY molds.
Create a healthy rainbow on a skewer for your next summer snack! You can use all of your favorite fruits as long as they can be sliced into bite-size pieces and are firm enough to thread onto a skewer. To make your fruit skewers a little more indulgent, drizzle them with melted dark chocolate.
Key Lime Pie
We love key lime pie year round, but summer is peak pie season. We make our miniature pies fresh from scratch every day in the Costa Vida kitchens and have shared our key lime pie recipe for you to enjoy at home. Bring cool key lime pies to your next BBQ and top them with fresh whipped cream and a squeeze of lime juice.
Grilling brings out the natural sweetness of summer fruit like peaches and pears. Cut the unpeeled fruit in half and lightly drizzle the cut side with honey or natural maple syrup. Place the cut side onto a hot grill on direct heat for a few minutes until the fruit tenderizes and shows grill marks. Flip to the other side for a few more minutes, remove, and top with a dollop of Greek yogurt or a scoop of ice cream.
Fresh berries, cream, and cake? We’re there! Use a round cookie cutter or biscuit cutter to cut small circles out of homemade or store-bought yellow sheet cake. Spoon fresh berries over the cakes and top with a dollop of lightly sweetened whipped cream. We like making tres leches shortcakes by drizzling a mixture of milk, evaporated milk, and sweetened condensed milk over the cake circles before topping with strawberries.
