Spiderweb Guacamole Recipe

Halloween is one week away, but that doesn’t mean we have to wait until next week to get into the holiday spirit. We’re looking forward to a week of buying bulk candy, carving jack-o-lanterns, and making spookier versions of our favorite foods. At Costa Vida, we’re dreaming of ideas to increase our fear factor. Jack-o-lantern quesadillas? Blood red queso? Bone-shaped tortilla chips? The possibilities are endless!
We looked to the Internet for more inspiration and found an easy Halloween-themed version of our favorite snack – guacamole! This spooky spider web guacamole will make the perfect side dish for your Halloween parties or serve as a healthy pre-trick-or-treating snack. It’s festive, healthy, and fun!
Ingredients:
Guacamole – use store-bought or make your own guacamole
1/4 - 1/3 cup sour cream
Diced tomatoes, for garnish
Shredded cheese, for garnish
Plastic spiders, for decoration
Tortilla chips
Instructions:
Spoon guacamole into a bowl or onto a serving platter. Fill a Ziploc bag with sour cream and cut off one of the corners to create a piping bag. Pipe a spider web design over the guacamole. Decorate with diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, and plastic spiders. Enjoy with your favorite tortilla chips.
