Have we mentioned it’s almost summer? The most SUN-derful time of the year is nearly here with warm temperatures and long sunny days outside. Just as we crave rich comfort foods in the winter, many Costavidans choose lighter, cleaner foods during summer. Salads flavored with fresh mangos and Baja bowls are some of our most popular summer items. These entrees are high in protein,  low in carbohydrates, and full of flavor. There’s no need to skimp on flavor when eating clean!

Our friend Drew Manning of Fit2Fat2Fit lives the ultimate healthy lifestyle. As a husband, dad and personal trainer, he proves each day that physical and mental health is all about balance. We invited him to visit Costa Vida to show us the cleanest entrée on our menu. He created a custom lunch or dinner item that does not contain gluten, is packed with protein, and is naturally flavored with fresh salsa and guacamole.
