Costa Vida Pico de Gallo Recipe
In honor of Cinco de Mayo next week, we’re bringing you one of our favorite salsa recipes!
It is no secret that we love our salsas. Mild, spicy, fruity - as long as it’s fresh we can’t wait to try it. We add our homemade salsas to nearly everything we make in our restaurants because we love how a fresh salsa or pico de gallo can transform a meal into something special. Top your chicken salad with mango salsa, and suddenly you’re enjoying lunch on a tropical beach in the sun. Dip tortilla chips into chunky pico de gallo, and you’re sharing chips and salsa with your friends during a summer BBQ.
We’re sharing our pico de gallo recipe, one of our most popular salsas. Bright, low-calorie, and packed with antioxidants like heart-healthy lycopene, this salsa is as good for you as it is delicious. Make our easy pico de gallo this weekend and let the fresh flavors take you back to summer!

2 cups chopped fresh tomatoes
1/2 diced yellow onion
1/8 cup minced Serrano peppers (add more to increase spiciness!)
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Juice of 1 lime
1 tsp. granulated garlic
Kosher salt to taste
Combine tomatoes, onion, peppers, cilantro, lime juice, and granulated garlic in a bowl. Gently toss together. Add kosher salt to taste. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or spoon on top of your favorite tacos and salads! We find the pico tastes best when made with fresh produce and served immediately.
