Costa Vida Limonada Recipe
When summer heats up, and you’re not at the beach, a refreshing beverage is one of the best ways to cool down. At Costa Vida, we make our famous horchata year-round, but in the summer, we find ourselves craving fresh fruit drinks like our signature Limonada. We serve limeade instead of traditional lemonade to stay as close to our coastal Mexican roots as possible. Lemonade is not readily available in Mexico, but fresh Limeade is! We only use the ripest limes from California because the better the lime, the better the Limonada.
We serve our tangy, sweet take on traditional limeade in select restaurants, but today we’re sharing our recipe with Costavidans everywhere! Because bottled lime juice often contains preservatives, for the best taste, we recommend using juice from fresh limes. There is no substitute to fresh, so take the time to juice your own limes. Stir up this easy summer beverage and escape to the beach tonight!
